Our workshops in the Waldbart hands-on workshop are all about this fascinating material. We share our passion for working with wood and the indescribable feeling of making things ourselves. In our courses we provide you with knowledge and techniques relating to the entire wood value chain. From the sustainable management of our forests to wood harvesting and further processing to traditional and modern woodworking techniques. In our workshops you will learn tips and tricks from crafts and technology in a comfortable atmosphere and create your first own works. Waldbart offers a wide range of courses along the wood value chain, from wood extraction in forestry to traitional and modern processing to the finished wooden product:
Forestry:
In our forestry workshops you will learn first-hand everything about our forests and their sustainable use and the important role of forestry. During a tour of the Berlin forests, we will explain what our forests once looked like, what we have changed and what changes will be necessary for the future. We are available to answer your questions about tree species and their economic use. Join us on an exciting journey through our native flora. In our chainsaw courses you will also learn important basics about the technology and safe use of chainsaws.
Woodworking:
Get involved yourself and learn everything about wood, its use and processing in the cozy workshop atmosphere of the Waldbart hands-on workshop. We show you the most important techniques and backgrounds in woodworking and crafts in our workshops and courses. From choosing the right wood to using tools and machines, we'll show you everything you need to know to make your own wooden creations.
In our DIY courses we will show you how you can build simple and practical wooden objects yourself. Your creativity knows no limits.
CAD/CNC:
In our courses you will learn the basics of computer-aided design and modeling of 3D bodies with parametric CAD software, the creation of appropriate tool paths via CAM and the final production on CNC machines. In short, we will show you how you can create creative wooden objects from your idea using modern technology.

Behind Waldbart is founder Denny König, a trained forester and engineer. In his factory he combines his passion for wood and craftsmanship with knowledge of wood and forestry, crafts and engineering. Its interdisciplinary approach makes Waldbart the perfect partner when it comes to tailor-made solutions in the wood sector. As a forester, the founder attaches particular importance to sustainable working methods.
